Rev. Leonard Turner

     Our Sr. Pastor, Leonard Turner, was born in Gadsden, AL.  He graduated from Bethel College (now Bethel University) in McKenzie, TN.  He has a Masters degree from Memphis Theological Seminary.  He has been happily married to his wife, Mary Jo, for 50 years.  They have two beautiful daughters, Gina Wood & Tabitha Roberts.  Gina has 2 wonderful daughters, Taylor & Anna.  Tabitha has 2 exceptional sons, Guy & Brodie.  Leonard has been the Pastor at Union for 43 years.  Before coming to Union, he pastored C.P. Churches in Bethesda & Friendship in West Tennessee.  He enjoys taking his kids & grandkids out on the lake for a fun day on the boat.  He is also a huge Alabama football fan.

 

Mr. Frank Galbraith

     Our Choir Director, Frank Galbraith, has been at Union C.P. Church for over 40 years.  He & his lovely wife, Cheryl, are both retired Middle School teachers.  Frank has an amazing gift for song writing and playing both the piano & guitar!  They have 4 wonderful children: Mark Wendell, Dayna Ballew, Cody Wise, & Casey Galbraith.  They have 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Frank & his music partner, Jerry Thomas, have performed over 200 times at local nursing homes, senior centers, & local clubs/organizations.  Frank also does exceptional seminars & training on Creation.  Frank enjoys Badminton and has won medals at the Senior Olympics!

Mrs. Judy Perkins

     Our Office Manager, Judy Perkins, was born in West Virginia. She has been happily married to her husband, Dan, for 42 years. They have 1 son, Joshua, who lives in Hendersonville, Tn.  He is married to Donna and they have 2 sons. Judy graduated from Maryville College. She worked for 21 years as a Church Business Administrator.  She enjoys reading, doing crafts, sewing, & working in her yard.

Rev. Chris Caldwell

     Our Christian Education Director, Chris Caldwell, was born here in Knoxville, TN.  He attended Farragut High School.  He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. degree in Business.  He has a Masters of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt University.  He has been happily married to his wife, Jill, for 22 years.  They have 3 handsome sons: Noah, Caleb, & E.J. & 1 extremely cute daughter, Selah.  Chris served as Associate Pastor at Tusculum C.P. Church for 4 years.  He was Minister of Christian Education at First C.P. Church, Knoxville.  He was Pastor of Hope Community Church of Knoxville for 14 years.  He has been on staff at Union for 10 months.  He enjoys Hiking in the Smokies!

Our Hispanic Pastor leads the Mercy Church at 634 Martel Rd.; Lenoir City.

Rev. John Peach

Our Truck Stop Minster leads the Truck Stop services at the Pilot Service Station each Sunday morning.

Rev. Gary Hartman

     Our Media Director, Gary Hartman, is by birth a Kentuckian.  He is a Vietnam veteran and served our country for four years in the Army Security Agency.  He has several technology degrees, an associate in liberal arts, and a diploma from the Program of Alternate Studies at the Memphis Theological Seminary.  His secular careers in electronics spans bench technician, technical writing, diagnostic engineering, project leadership, and department management. His final position after 21 years with the Intel Corporation allowed him to lead a team at Oak Ridge National Labs in keeping the world’s fastest Super Computer (the Intel XPS-150) running while helping scientists and mathematicians debug and improve their software codes. He is joyfully married to his wife, Pam, for over 25 years.  They enjoy five children, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. At 53 years old, he followed God’s calling into Pastoral Ministry. He pastored at the Corntassel CP church for eight years and fills-in when needed at various CP churches near him. He has served Union as a volunteer for 4 years filling-in as needed: teaching, preaching, counseling, and bringing technology into the church for the 21st century.
