     EXERCISE

The class is structured so that all levels of fitness can participate.  You decide what weights you feel comfortable with and there are more advanced versions of most of the exercises.

  Want to have some fun and feel better about yourself?  Come join our Union Exercise Class. 

Each Monday and Thursday, from 9:15 am to 12:30 am, our group meets in the gym for fun and fitness.

They begin with a warm-up, some walking, balance, mat work for your legs and abs, and a workout with weights, followed by stretching and cool-down.

 

Presently, the class consists of ladies, but men, you are invited to join the fun.  You will need to bring your own weights and an exercise mat.  Wear your gym shoes and comfortable clothing.  Come join the fun!

OPEN TO PUBLIC

"I couldn't even walk around the gym one time when I started this class," said Ruby Hughes, "and now I can keep up with my grand kids at the mall!"

Can you walk around the gym? 

1 Timothy 4:8 informs us, “For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.” Notice that the verse does not say that exercise has no value! It says that exercise is valuable, but it holds priorities right by saying that godliness is of greater value.
